Factory Service
Zefon employs specially trained technicians who are MSHA certified for maintenance and calibration of Escort ELF pumps. Escort pumps sent in for repair service are thoroughly examined by these skilled professionals who will diagnose, service, and calibrate your pump to the original factory specifications.

Escort Flat-Rate Comprehensive Pump Repair and Calibration Options

Escort ELF Repair and Calibration
Includes everything needed to service the pump and bring it to a point where it can operate within original factory specifications, PLUS calibration of the secondary standard inside the Escort ELF pump and calibration certificate.

Escort LC Repair
Includes everything needed to service the pump and bring it to a point where it can operate within original factory specifications.

Escort ELF Calibration Only
Includes calibration of the secondary standard inside the Escort ELF pump and a calibration certificate.

What’s Included
The flat rate repair program is a comprehensive repair that covers all the parts and labor required for the product to operate correctly within its stated specifications. This includes all parts integrated into the product itself. It does not include external accessories or components of the product, such as battery chargers, flow meters or flow indicators.

This program is not to be used in lieu of routine maintenance or replacement of components such as batteries or filters. (Replacement of batteries will occur if it is causing the product to not function properly or meet factory specifications.)

The flat rate repair charge is not intended to cover products with components that have been salvaged from other products or products that are sent in not fully intact or dis-assembled. In such cases, Zefon reserves the right to return these products unrepaired.

Within the flat rate program, Zefon evaluates repairs to determine whether or not the product should be deemed as "not economical to repair." If your product is deemed “not economical to repair” Zefon will charge a nominal “Evaluation Only” fee and, if requested, return these products to you.

Turn-Around Time

Our normal turn-around time averages 2 weeks from the date the product is received, excluding holidays. Actual time may vary depending on repair center workload at any given time. All repairs take a minimum of 3 business days from the date received. This is due to the amount of diagnostic testing, charging and run tests performed with each repair.

Customers may request that their repair be expedited for an additional fee. When requested, the repair will be moved to the front-of-the-line of orders awaiting repair and behind the next expedited repair waiting in line on the day the product is received by Zefon.

All repairs are warranted against defects and workmanship of items repaired for 90 days.

Repair Order Instructions
Follow these simple instructions to send your unit back to Zefon for factory repair and service.

1. Gather the following information, regarding your repair:
  • Billing address
  • Shipping address
  • Contact person
  • Model
  • Serial number
  • Brief description of the problem
  • Any special instructions for us to how you want the unit shipped back after repair.
  • Payment method (credit card or purchase order)
2. Place a repair order online (click add to cart below) or Call Customer Service at (800) 282-0073 to place a repair order.

3. Place the pump in a box, along with the information gathered in Step 1. Include ALL components that go with the pump including the charger. We cannot evaluate correctly without confirming that your charger is working correctly and not part of the problem.

4. Customer Service will contact you within 1 to 2 business with the Return Authorization Number and instruction for returning the pump. Do not ship the pump back to us until you have received the Return Authorization Number.
