Zefon International Acquires MSA’s Sampling Pump & Cassette Product Line
OCALA, FL, November 9th, 2010– Zefon International, a manufacturer and worldwide distributor of sampling equipment and media, has acquired the Sampling Pump and Cassette product lines from Mine Safety Appliances (MSA). The acquisition includes the Escort® Sampling Pump, Gemini® Twin Port Sampler, respirable dust cyclone, sampling cassettes and accessories. MSA’s sampling pumps and cassettes are widely used in the mining industry and currently, the Escort ELF sampling pump, along with the cyclone and coal dust cassettes are the only approved products for use in coal mine dust sampling.
