These specialized tubes are designed to detect contaminants in water samples. To use them, both ends are broken off and the tube is immersed in a beaker of sample water. The sample is drawn by capillary action, by rubber bulb, or by syringe per the individual tube instructions. Concentrations are indicated by length of stain.
