Some IAQ investigators collect samples from cavities behind walls by drilling ¼” holes, inserting inner wall samplers attached to Micro-5 cassettes and pulling 5 Litters per minute for 0.5-2 minutes. The resulting samples may indicate inner wall fungal contamination within a cavity. The cassette connector is also used to connect the sampling cassette to a rotameter or calibrator for flow calibration.
